Five Suits Connected, previously known as "Five Crowns," is an online card game that is based on the popular game by Set Enterprises, Inc. It offers a turn-based gameplay experience that can be enjoyed by the entire family. One of the standout features of this game is its online play mode, which allows players to engage in matches with friends, family, or even new opponents from across the globe. The game offers a seamless experience where matches only conclude once all rounds have been completed. Additionally, the online play mode includes in-game messaging functionality, providing players with the opportunity to interact with their opponents.

Five Suits Connected also offers an offline mode, allowing players to compete against others or computer opponents using a single device. This feature ensures that players can enjoy the game regardless of their internet connectivity.

The objective of the game is to obtain the lowest number of points after playing all eleven hands. Each hand consists of two 55-card decks that include 3's to Kings from 5 suits. To add an element of excitement and variety, the deck also incorporates 6 Jokers.

At the start of the game, each player receives 3 cards during the first round. Subsequently, in each round, the cards are reshuffled, and an additional card is dealt to each player. This process continues until each player has been dealt 13 cards in the final round.

During their turn, players have the option to draw a card from the deck or pick up the top card from the discard pile. Their turn is completed by discarding one card. Furthermore, players can strategically meld some or all of their books and/or runs during any of their turns. When a player successfully melds all of their cards and "opens," the remaining players are given one last turn. Each player must pick up a card, lay down a card, and meld their books and/or runs in order to remove those cards from their hand. The remaining cards then count as points against them for that round. The player who goes first in each round rotates. The gameplay continues until the eleventh hand, during which the Kings become wild. Ultimately, the player with the lowest score emerges victorious.
